What this tool can do
  • Combine many Excel files created in the same format into one file.
  • Copy cell values, fonts, fill color, and number formats within the specified range.
  • Files cannot be combined if rows or columns have been added or deleted relative to the base file.
How to use
  1. Select the base file and confirm the target worksheet.
  2. Select many Excel files to combine (multiple selection is supported).
  3. Specify the range to compare with the base file.
  4. Specify the upper-left and lower-right cells of the data range.
  5. Click “Check Data”; after confirming there are no issues, click “Combine”.
  6. Review the result and click “Save” to save the file.

This range is treated as a protected comparison area. Combination stops if an input file differs from the base file. It is used to detect shifts caused by added or deleted rows or columns.

Scope and notes

This tool supports .xlsx files and combines cell values, fonts, fill color, and number formats. Macros, external links, shapes, images, charts, pivot tables, conditional formatting, comments, slicers, and similar features may not be fully preserved. Formulas are loaded as formulas but are not recalculated in the browser. Keep the original files and verify the output before using it for important work.
